Mira-A is a Red-Giant, a star in its late-stage life. This is different from our sun, which is in its mid-life crisis life stage. Mira-A is going to die very soon if it isn't already dead. Once Mira-A dies, this site will die along with it. Unless our sun kills us before Mira-A's death is visible. That probably won't happen though, I wouldn't let it. Anyway, Mira-A is significantly bigger than our sun, being 2.34 x 10³⁰ kilograms to our sun's 1.9985 x 10³⁰ kilograms.
